What does a cookie do?
An Internet cookie is a small packet of data or a text file. It usually contains the name of a website and a unique user ID. Also known as “cookies”, “computer cookies”, “browser cookies”, “Internet cookies” or “HTTP cookies”, Internet cookies are created and sent by websites and stored on your computer or browser whenever you request information from a site. This cookie file can only be read by its issuer, who can use it, during its period of validity, to recognize the device concerned each time it accesses digital content containing cookies from the issuer. The cookie does not identify you personally, only your device’s browser. When you connect to our sites, a banner is displayed. Subject to your choice, cookies will be stored on your computer, smartphone, tablet, mobile device, etc. The information thus collected may be used by the site consulted or by a third party. You can also delete them from your device at any time. There are several types of cookies and several ways of objecting to them. You can refuse the storage of cookies on your device at any time via your browser, as described in Appendix A.
